Mariana Delport is a keen naturalist with a passionate interest in botany and birding, as well as in other wildlife. She is a keen gardener and is becoming well known for her gardening presentations. She will discuss how to create and manage various habitats to make your garden more bird friendly, which plants to use to attract various bird species to your garden and will cover issues such as whether to feed or not feed birds in your garden. She will also give tips on how to make your own compost, as well as what alternatives you can use for pesticides.
Course notes will be provided.
You need to bring only a pen or pencil.
